Chiropractic Care

Infinity Wellness offers a comprehensive and rehabilitative approach to chiropractic. The initial discussion and full exam are most important in providing a treatment plan that is designed for your specific needs.

Chiropractic Services

Chiropractic Joint Manipulation

Many factors contribute as to why a joint becomes restricted, losing it’s ability to function and move appropriately.  At Infinity Wellness we focus only on the restricted joint and with a targeted and specific application of directional force, the restriction is corrected.  Movement is restored, pain has decreased, and surrounding soft tissue may relax.

Graston Technique

Evidence-based, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that allows for detection and correction of myofascial dysfunction.  This technique is used highly amongst professional athletes but can be used to correct everyday soft tissue dysfunction.

Flexion and Distraction Therapy

Gentle traction for the back in a non-weight bearing fashion designed to stretch low back musculature, allow movement through the spine, and decrease pain.

Post-isometric Relaxation (PIR)

Stretching technique to lengthen musculature commonly associated with acute and chronic pain.  This technique is used to reduce muscle spasms and increase range of motion.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)

Passive stretching with alternating muscle contraction.  This technique is used to increase range of motion and flexibility.

Myofascial Release Technique

A corrective “pinning and stretching” of a muscle.  This technique targets adhesion that has formed within the muscle to improve range of motion, reduce pain, improve circulation, and give an overall sense of healing to the area.

Soft Tissue Manipulation

Manual technique is similar to massage in that it is pressure applied to soft tissue with intent to relax musculature, increase range of motion, and restore strength.

Drop Technique

Chiropractic adjustment technique where a piece of the table “drops away” after a gentle thrust is given.  Drop tables can be used for gentler adjustments of restricted joints but are still highly effective at restoring mobility and decreasing pain.
